SEMINAR ON MATLAB AND SIMULINK ACADEMIC TOUR
 
 

Mrs. Chesta Agarwal, Assistant Professor from Computer Science & Engineering Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in a one-day seminar on MATLAB and SIMULINK Academic Tour organized by Math Works at Shangri – La Eros Hotel, New Delhi on 24th September, 2013.

The objective of this seminar was to disseminate the knowledge about best practices adopted to shorten cycle when converting MATLAB to HDL code and to accelerate developments on MATLAB & Simulink using GPUs and MDCS (MATLAB Distributed Computing Server).

Dr. Loren Shure, the Principal MATLAB developer at MathWorks delivered a lecture on Teaching Computational Skills with MATLAB and demonstrated how various concepts can be simulated using the Matlab Simulink. She also highlighted Project-Based Learning with MATLAB, Simulink, and Low-Cost Hardware, teaching Signal Processing, Communication and Computer Vision Concepts using MATLAB and Simulink.

The seminar provided a great learning experience which would help in implementing the various signal processing concepts.
