A group of 37 students from the Department of Computer Science Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in Microsoft Dev Camp on August 29, 2013 at Hotel City Park, Gurgaon. The camp was organized to guide the upcoming developers in making their first app on Microsoft Platform. In this camp highly experienced developers demonstrated building app development on Microsoft Mobile Platforms.

The Microsoft personnel encouraged the developers to build apps for Windows and demonstrated building Windows 8/8.1 apps using XAML, .NET, HTML/CSS/JavaScript. They also discussed Windows Azure platform and the designing and developing apps for Windows Phone as well.

At the end of the camp the representatives of Microsoft solved students queries. The students also got the opportunity to sign up for the App Builder Club by Microsoft Dev Camp.
