Mr. Abhimanyu Singh (Roll No. 13004) a student of Computer Science Engineering Department, represented Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon at International front by completing his Internship on the project “The Global Village” at AIESEC( Association internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales) University of Philippines, Dilman from 7th July to 18th August 2013. AIESEC is the international platform for young people to be global citizens, to change the world, and to get experience and skills that matter today. Global Village is an international and multicultural celebration of diversity aimed to address the public, most especially the youth, to the importance of social sustainability, world awareness, and cultural understanding. It has three phases viz. the Global Village Launch, Global Village Hype, and Global Village Culminating Activity.

As a part of his project, Mr. Abhimanyu Singh interacted with the interns of other nationalities and made them aware of the Indian culture. The first destination of the Global Village Launch was San Francisco High School.

The main event during the Global Village Hype Cycle 2 was the Exhibition. All the interns across the globe showcased their talent representing their tradition and culture. The Global Village Project helped all the interns from different countries to become a new global family and give a message of Unity in a diverse world.
