Ms. Chesta Agarwal, Assistant Professor from the Dept. of Computer Science Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the Oracle Higher Education Seminar on “Transform Higher Education: Drive Student Success and Institution Excellence” on 13th August, 2013 at the Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi. The objective of this seminar was to provide insights on various Oracle solutions to prepare the students for employability.

Mr. Mohit Phogat, Business Manager, Higher Education, Oracle Corporation, India; Mr. Madhu Gothandaraman, Solution Consultant - Higher Education, Oracle; Mr. Abhay Kacker, Principal Sales Consultant, Oracle; Mr. Deven Pandey, Sales Director, Oracle Policy Automation, Oracle; Mr. Anand Padmanabhan, Chief Information Officer, Shiv Nadar Foundation and HCL Corporation Pvt. Ltd shared different ways to drive student’s success and excellence. During the seminar, they highlighted the relevant issues like (a) managing student lifecycle (b) Manage operations more effectively (c) Enhancing Constituent Experience (d) Policy Automation for Higher Education Institutes.

The seminar provided an insight not only to the better student management, but also discussed effective management techniques for the institution - Fiscal Management, CRM, Procurement and HR that enable transparency, unified view of student and employee identities with anytime and anywhere access. The seminar was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Ajay Kapur, Director, Oracle Education Initiatives, and Oracle on Oracle Education Program.
