The Webinar was organized by the IBM with an objective of Smarter Planet where systems are highly instrumented, interconnected and intelligent. IBM representative, Mr. Rishab Sharma Client Technical Leader, IBM Software Group, India / South Asia discussed that Data are coming from new places, in greater volumes and at faster rates. Therefore the Companies are able to control data unlock patterns faster, serve customers better and outpace competitors through Smarter Storage which is an more efficient, automated and intelligent approach to storage.

Mr. Rishab Sharma also introduced the concepts of Flash System & MicroLatency, macro efficiency and enterprise reliability etc. This approach of delivering storage systems optimized to meet price, performance, and capacity demands for different markets delivers benefits for Information Technology across many areas. Commonality of administration, reduced risk when deploying a Storwize system, integration and support from software vendors, and use of unique Storwize features.

The webinar was quite informative and enlightening session for all the faculty members.
