CSE & IT department has taken an initiative and started national level seminar from this year. On 17th Jan 2007 our department organized a national seminar on Recent Advances in Information Technology (RAIT). Many Colleges of NCR participated in the seminar. Mr. Gautam Pathak was the chief Guest of the seminar. Many faculty members presented papers on different emerging trends like IT Audit, Nano Technology, and Information Security, Z-theory etc.
20 people presented their papers on various latest events, developments and changes in the field of information technology.
In 2006, CSE department organized a National Level Technofest “OPUS”. Many colleges of NCR participated. They participated in various events including paper presentation, poster presentation, on the spot programming, Bugging etc.
CSE Department along with IT Department also organized a training programme which was conducted by APPIN Technologies for both its students and faculty members on .net. More than 100 students of both departments participated in this 1 month exercise. Faculty also got hands on experience of .net.
