On 22nd August 2013, a group of 59 students from Computer Science Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited Rajiv Gandhi Renewable Energy Park (RGREP), Leisure Valley, Sector 29, Gurgaon under the coordination of Mrs. Chitra Kaul, Associate Professor and Mr. Naveen Gupta, Lab Instructor of the Department.

The objective of this visit was to create awareness among the students and to provide them a forum of interaction with distinguished experts working on different energy solutions like Solar Energy, Wind Power, Hydro Power, Energy Efficiency, Bio-fuels and alternative fuels.

The event organizer Ms. Charu Singh welcomed the students and made them well aware about the Energy Park and various technologies based on Energy resources. The students were guided to utilize energy resources in a practical manner.

The visit was useful to the students as they learnt the working-processes of various technical equipments being operated using solar power.
