On 17th October 2013, a group of 41 Students from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department (VII semester) of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited Air Force Station, Tughlakabad, New Delhi along with two faculty coordinators Mrs. Dimple Saproo and Mr.Surender Dhaka.

The students visited different squadrons, sites, hangars and laboratories inside the campus. Some electronic and electrical systems/equipments like P-18 and P-19 radar, ST-68 radar, Parabolic Antenna reflector, Horn antenna, Yagi antennas, radomes, INDRA-II radar and Remote Test Equipment etc were demonstrated to the students by the specialists at different sites.

The visit was concluded by the liaison Officer, Wg Cdr Nimesh Jain. It was very informative and effective to the students as they learnt about various equipments which are used by Indian Air Force of our country such as Air Defence Radar and Missile deployment system and different missile guidance systems.
