The Final round of Business plan competition of “The Next Generation Entrepreneur - 2013” was held at FICCI Headquarters on 23rd Mar 2013. Ms. Shivani Gupta 13234 of VI sem. ECE had attended third meeting at FICCI on 23rd Mar 13 with reference to her idea "Intelligent Welfare Socket for the Poor" for 'The Great Entrepreneur event'. The idea is based on Peizo-electric effect where a small socket can be fitted in the sole of the shoe.The pressure energy while walking can be stored and thereafter converted to Electrical energy. This idea was one of the 30 shortlisted ideas out of over 600 entries received at FICCI. She was given a certificate for participation.

The earlier meetings had been on 9th Mar 13th and 16th Mar 13th wherein she was asked to explain her business plan and FICCI officials had conducted a workshop for all the selected participants on financing options for the development of the Business Plan.
