Electronics For You (EFY) Expo organised from 21st-23th Feb, 2013 was a unique electronics event that focussed not only on “components” and “manufacturing equipment” but on the entire eco system of Electronics in India. The event was organised in partnership with the Department of Electronics & IT (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India. It also has the support of NSIC and the approval of ITPO.

In order to build a comprehensive platform for the electronics industry, this Expo had everything that an electronics event should provide–starting from innovation (new technology), product design, manufacturing and lastly product sales.

About 30 students accompanied by four faculty members of DCE had visited the expo. The students got an opportunity to visit various stalls, hold discussions on the various electronics equipments on display at the Expo.

The students and the faculty members discussed on fabrication of projects with EFY technical personel who had exhibated various kits for project development. The visit was quite educative and useful for our students.
