ALUMNI MEET

To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, the Alumni- Meet of Dronacharyans was organised at The Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi on 27th December 2012. Undoubtedly, the Alumni -Meet was a grand occasion when the Alumni of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon gathered to get rejuvenated and reconnected with the Management, faculty and staff of the college. The ceremony was started by welcoming the Chief-Guest Hon’ble Dr. Satish Yadav, Chairman, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Alumni & Other Guests with rose flowers followed by a welcome speech by Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh, Dean, Academics of the college. Addressing the Alumni, Hon’ble Chief-guest underlined the achievements of Dronacharyans in various fields. He emphasised the need for further strengthening the linkage between the Alumni and the Alma mater-Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon.

The visionary Principal Prof. B. M. K. Prasad expressed that due to the recognised contributions of Alumni, DCE, Gurgaon is named as a peerless college in the field of technical education. He reiterated that Alumni-Meet is an opportunity given to every alumnus to share experiences about his/her alma mater which had a life-changing impact on their career.

The Alumni-Meet was glittered with some sentimental and rational speeches delivered by Alumni. They were all unanimous in echoing their feelings that the college has played a very vital role in shaping their destiny. Throughout the evening, they talked about discipline, promptness and cooperation taught at College. The Alumni also discussed the social, technological and environmental aspects of professional world. The evening resulted in sharing of reminiscent times, new networks built where Alumni promised to remain in touch with each other.

The Alumni Meet was ended with a vote of thanks by Swasti Garg, Placement Officer and followed by dinner.
