DRONTECH - 2012

On 24th & 25th February 2012, Drontech-2012 was organized in the college campus. First time since the inception of techno fest in Dronacharya’s history, 16 different events were organized on various technical topics. Students participated very enthusiastically in all the events and in few events the number of participants were more than 300. Some of the popular events were Technical Quiz, Paper presentation, Gaming arena & Junk Yard. Students from many colleges of NCR not only participated in various event but had won several prizes.

On 24th February the Techno fest Drontech-2012 was inaugurated by Prof. Promod Hari, Advisor, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and shared his valuable thoughts and experience with the students. The Chief Guest visited various events and interacted with the participants and was impressed with the enthusiasm & interest shown by the participants in various events. Particularly, He was very impressed with the robots made by the students.

On 25th February, Mr. T. Chandrasekhar, Director, Patent Facilitating Center, DST, New Delhi was the chief Guest for the closing ceremony. Mr. T. Chandrasekhar briefed students about the importance of research and the procedure for patenting to all the students. Mr. T.Chandershekher also distributed the Prizes to all winners of various events.

Drontech-2012 was a very successful event in which the sponsors have also helped very generously. Some of the major sponsors were TIME, HP, Rawalcomm Group, HIMT etc. Success of every event is depicted by the enthusiasm of the student coordinators & participants, which in this was unmatched.
