E - WEEK PROGRAMME

Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon celebrated E-WEEK on 14th-15th February 2012 with the theme “INVENT THE FUTURE”. The objective of this celebration was to inspire all into donning the lens of an entrepreneur and delving into local issues and fundamental challenges of water scarcity, garbage, traffic problems, pollution, power etc.

All the participants took the E-week pledge to support Entrepreneurial Environment with complete dedication and devotion. Inaugurating the programme, the Dean Academics Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh, enlightened the participants on the necessity of Entrepreneurship in today’s world, particularly in India. Mr. Sanjay Kapoor, Consultant “NEN” (NCR-Region) also addressed the participants and judged their ideas for better implementation.

Hon’ble Guest speaker Mr. Vikas Rajput, CEO “Parallel Living Research Centre and the Site Makerz” guided the students about stepwise approaches to develop business plans and models. Mr. Hemant Mittal, an alumnus of DCE, Gurgaon shared his experiences of the real entrepreneurial world. Mr. Anil Garg, Chief-Manager “Syndicate Bank”, Gurgaon discussed issues of finance, investment and loan.

A number of exercises like E-Quiz, Idea Generated Exercise, Rs.50 Exercise were conducted to give the students a flair of entrepreneurship. Some inspirational videos on the theme Invent the Future were showcased to prove how can we effectively utilize our limited resources in an efficient way.

During the programme, the participants were made aware how to take initiatives and get positive outputs. They were also motivated and inspired to excel in the Entrepreneurial World.

The program ended with Certificate and Prize Distribution ceremony. Mrs. Praveen Chaudhary, Member (Entrepreneurship Development Cell) expressed the deepest gratitude to all organizers participants and guests.
