Job Prospectus And Career Planning In The Industry

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a seminar on “Job Prospectus and career planning in the Industry” for III semester students of Mechanical Engineering Department on 9th September, 2013.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Samunder Singh, Senior SAP Consultant of Mahle Holding India Pvt. Ltd. and it was attended by 67 students.
Mr. Singh discussed with the students that what are the most desired aspects which a Mechanical Engineer should possess; both technical and theoretical. He informed the students about the job prospects in this field and about the Companies that recruit Mechanical Engineers. He gave the students valuable tips so that they can easily crack selection interviews and get hired by nationally and internationally acclaimed companies. He guided the students for their career planning and suggested them to decide and focus on their goals. The students were motivated for self-awareness so that they can have better job prospects in future.
The lecture was extremely useful for the students and it shall help them facing various challenges during tests / interviews. The overall talk gave a very good and detailed exposure to the career opportunities available in Mechanical Engineering field. The talk was well appreciated by the students as per the feedback received from them.
