A Design Competition MINI-BAJA was organized by Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAE INDIA) at Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Bangalore on 26th - 27th July 2013. SAE India is India’s leading resource for mobility technology. The objective of this competition was to offer students an opportunity to enhance their engineering design and project management skills in a challenging competition. The students had to design, build, test, promote, and compete with a prototype of a single seat off-road vehicle intended for production and eventual sale to the non-professional weekend racer.

A group of four students Surya Sharma (Roll No. 13351), Kunal Singh Katoch (Roll No. 13308), Ankit Singh (Roll No. 13281) and Akash Bajaj (Roll No. 13272) from Mechanical Engineering Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in this competition.

The design CHASSIS SYSTEM demonstrated by Dronacharyans was appreciated by the Jury members of SAE INDIA.
