On 20th March 2013, a group of 54 students from Department of Mechanical Engineering visited TERI-The Energy and Resources Institute, Gurgaon along with two faculty members - Mr. Vijay Wakhlu and Mr. Tanvir Singh. The purpose of this visit was to understand the mechanism of various projects regarding renewable energy.

Under the guidance of Mr. Sameer Sethi, Deputy Manager and Shri Suresh Kumar, Dev - Asst. Manager the students were demonstrated various plants like Natural Air conditioning plant, Dehumidifier, Renewable Energy System, Bio-mass Gassifier, Water recycling plant etc.

The visit was very much useful as the students learnt different approaches to create innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
