On 26th August 2013 the department of Mechanical Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a seminar on “3-D Student Design Challenge” in association with M/s Arvato, a subsidy of M/s Autodesk Ltd., Gurgaon.
The objective of this seminar was to disseminate knowledge and practical understanding of 3-D modeling part and Autodesk Inventor enabling the attendees to ascribe colors and textures to various components of technical projects in the field of Mechanical and Civil Engineering.
Mr. Sunny Verma, a representative of M/s Autodesk Ltd., Gurgaon explained interrelationships and interdependence of components in 3D design. He emphatically stated that transformability and modularity are some of the considerable factors in designing a technical project.
Over 150 studentsalong with 15 faculties from Mechanical and Civil Engineering disciplines attended this seminar.
The seminar as useful as the attendees learnt different steps related to 3D design Challenge. Besides this, it was an excellent opportunity to showcase their digital skills using Autodesk portfolio of products and understand the concepts of Mechanical fabrication, Mechanical Design Challenge etc.
