On March 5th, 2014 Mr. Dharmendra Pal, Associate Professor from Information Technology Department and Mr. Amar Saraswat, Assistant Professor from Computer Science and Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a one-day 8th INDIACom: 2014 International Conference on Computing for Sustainable Global Development organized at Bharti Vidyapeeth Educational Complex, New Delhi.

The objective of this conference was to discuss various latest technological concepts and their applications. The conference also provided a platform for technical exchanges amongst scientists, teachers, scholars, engineers and research students from all around the world.

The conference was technically sponsored by IEEE Delhi Section. It was supported and promoted by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), The Institution of Engineers (IE), ISTE, IETE Delhi centre, CSI Region I and Division I, GGSIP University, New Delhi.

Hon’ble Chief-Guest Prof. B. N. Mishra Chairman at Board of Governors, NSIT, New Delhi and the Guest of Honour Mr. Alok Vijayant, Director of Cyber Security Operations, NTRO, Government of India, New Delhi addressed the attendees and elaborated different aspects of developments in the field of sustainable global development.

Mr. Rajat M. Nag, Prof. S. V. Raghavan, Scientific Adviser to the Govt. of India, and also the President at Computer Society of India; Wg. Cdr. (Rtd.) K. C. Bhardwaj, Chairman, IETE, Delhi Chapter, Dr. Anurag Mishra, Conference Chair, Shri R. K. Vyas, and Prof. M. N. Hoda also shared their views and guided the attendees in carrying out further research.
