On 23rd October 2013, Computer Science and Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a one-day event Videography and Mobile App Talent Hunt with an objective to bring the fresh ideas about the various mobile applications. This event was sponsored by NIIT, Novafirst.com, collegekhabar.com, firstpa.com and jaagran.

In his inaugural address Hon’ble Principal Prof. (Dr.) M.N. Hussain motivated the participants for taking a part in such events. The participants presented motivational videos on various social issues like female feticide, corruption, poverty, illiteracy etc. They also presented the design of various new mobile applications.

There was a cash prize of Rs. 3000, Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1000 for top three teams. The team which fetched the first prize was Tarika and group, second prize Shivam and group and the third prize was bagged by the team Code Freaks.
