Google Student Ambassador (Shalini Sharma, Roll No. 14091) and Google Campus Partner (Gunjan Chhillar, Roll No. 14031) from the Google Student Club of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon conducted an Information Session on Google Cloud Developer Challenge 2013 in the college campus on 30th October, 2013. The attendees were made aware about the competition, Rules and Regulations, Awards for the winners etc through Creative Videos, presentation and were given technical knowledge about Google API’s, You tube API’s, Google Maps API’s. Also students were told about various Google APIs to be used to develop apps for the challenge.

They shared some relevant information for the students. They told what a participant is supposed to do is build and submit an amazing application in one of these categories:

(a) Enterprise/Small Business Solutions, Education, Not for Profit
(b) Social/Personal Productivity/Games / Fun
(c) A winner will be chosen for each category, in each region - 12 prizes in total.
(d) Awards for best mentors! A mentor will be chosen for in each region - 6 prizes in total.

The session was interactive and informative as the Google team members shared the information through videos and presentations.
