Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized Techno-Vision comprising a two-day workshop HACKIT and one- day SQL Server from 22 September-24 September, 2010. Under HACKIT, many interesting, impressive and relevant topics like Ethical Hacking, Cyber Crime Investigation, Cyber Forensics and Information Security, Mobile, Email & Web Security, Phishing Cases, Data Theft Case, Espionage Penetrating, Vulnerability Assessment Testing.
The speaker, Mr. Sunny Vaghela, is a renowned Director and Chief Technical Officer at TechDefence Consulting Pvt Ltd which is a growing security services and investigation consulting organization, in Ahmedabad. Mr. Vaghela has successfully traced the attackers criminals and culprits of Mumbai Serial Bomb Blasts, Ahmedabad Serial Blasts, Parliament Attack, Email threats etc.
Inaugurating the workshop on 22 September, Professor (Dr) B. M. K. Prasad, Principal, DCE, Gurgaon, addressed the audience that the handling of cyber crime and tracing criminals is not an easy task. But this informative and effective talk of Mr. Sunny Vaghela would ensure us how to track the people involved in scandalous and violent activities. This workshop was an endeavor to train the students and participants beyond the classrooms, laboratories etc. This is something more practical, professional and intellectual.
Hon’ble Principal Sir appreciated the talk of this young, energetic and dynamic personality. He also shared that Mr. Sunny Vaghela is bestowed with Rajeev Gandhi Young Achievers Award in 2007.
On 24 September, Mr. Sarabpreet Singh, Regional mentor and Expert in handling VLDBs & Disaster Management shared his experience on SQL Server. He mentored and counseled the participants how to bridge the gap between Academia and Industries.
