Dronacharya Alumni Association was established at the behest of our Hon’ble Chairman, Dr. Satish Yadav. The main aim of the Association is to promote and foster interaction amongst the Alumni, Faculty and present Students and to engage with our Alma Mater in order to raise the college at different levels and also to help fellow Alumni through various initiatives. The Alumni Meet is an occasion when the Alumni gather with their families, to reminisce, to network, to get updated, to get rejuvenated and to reconnect.
We are pleased to announce that all of us had a wonderful and memorable Alumni Meet on 1st January, 2010, at Shahjehan,The Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. All of us were honored by the august presence of our Hon’ble Chairman, Dr. Satish Yadav, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Members of the Advisory Board, Representatives from Industry, Foreign Guests along with a large number of Alumni and College Staff were the part of this Eve. It was very gracious on part of DCE, Greater Noida from which Dr. R. N. Sharma, Principal, participated in the function along with staff.
The Ceremony was started by welcoming the Guests and the Alumni with rose flowers. It was followed by a Welcome Speech by Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh, Dean Academics, DCE Gurgaon. He highlighted the aims of the Association as envisioned by our Hon’ble Chairman. The Chairman expressed his thoughts by conveying his pride and appreciation over the outstanding achievements of our Alumni. Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, Principal, DCE Gurgaon gave the keynote address. He shared the progress and growth that the College has made through the decade. Due to their praise worthy contribution, our college is today a well recognized as a leader in the field of Technical Education. He emphasized that college and the Alumni will togetherly rise to greater heights.
The Event was glittered with speeches by the Alumni who shared their experiences. They were all very nostalgic about the four years that they have spent in the college. They were all unanimous in echoing their feelings that college has played a very vital role in shaping their destiny. The Alumni movement of Dronacharyans lives through its students, spreading across India and overseas. The Meet ended with elaborate, sumptuous and delicious dinner.
On this Eve, Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh called upon the Chief Guest to inaugurate Dronacharya Research Journal and paid vote of thanks to everyone by wishing the Alumni of our College the very best in their endeavors.
