IETE STUDENTS FORUM

IETE students - forum was inaugurated on 18 Nov 10 by Sh. R. K Gupta , President of IETE at Department of ECE of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon. This IETE – DCE partnership will go a long way in the overall development of our students, as they will be able to participate in conferences / seminars jointly organised by IETE and deptt of ECE. Members of the forum can attend such activities organised by IETE at other places as well. In addition, they will be benefited in many more ways as 200 students from ECE branch have enrolled themselves as members of the student forum.

Principal DCE, Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, Prof (Dr.) Onkar Singh, Dean Academics and other dignitaries welcomed Sh. R. K Gupta, President IETE and brought out the need for all round personality development of the students. Addressing the students Principal DCE, Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, stated that opening of IETE students chapter in the department of ECE will encourage our students to take part in various activities like seminars, conferences and submit research papers / articles for the college journal as well as IETE students journal.

Addressing the audience, Sh. R. K. Gupta, President IETE appreciated the efforts taken by Department of ECE  in setting up of the students forum. He stated that the relationship between DCE and IETE will grow from strength to strength in a manner that student members of the college will be benefited. He also brought out that the student members can contribute their articles for publication in IETE students Journal. The function ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) H. S. Dua, Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
