NSS CAMP

One day NSS Camp was held at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon on 30th October, 2010. Besides Tree plantation and Cleanliness drive, other cultural and social welfare programmes were also organized in this camp by the NSS volunteers and faculty members.

Professor (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, Principal, DCE inaugurated the programme and in his inaugural address, as the Chief-Guest, made the students aware of scope and function of NSS in building the nation and society. Prof. (Dr) S. Krishan Yadav, HOD, Applied Sciences & Humanities motivated the students to contribute in the service of Nation through NSS. Dean Academics, Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh, and all HOD’s were also contributed in cleanliness drive and tree plantation to make the surroundings pollution free. An inspiring documentary was also shown to promote social services.

The Camp turned out to be a grand success as many students enthusiastically participated with devotion and dedication to social services under the able guidance of Mr. Ashok Kumar and Mrs. Sangeeta Singla. The programme ended with a vote of thanks to all NSS volunteers by the Programme Officer, Mr. Ashok Kumar. He expressed his gratitude to the management, Principal, Dean and every member associated with NSS Camp.
