The candidates were acquainted with building simple LANs, performing basic configurations for routers and switches, and implementation of IP addressing schemes. Candidates were given hands-on practice on switches, router and packet tracer exams to test their learning of module 1.

The candidates who qualified Module1 were allowed to attend next training session of CCNA Module 2 on “Routing and Switching Essentials”. It described the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small network. Candidates learned how to configure a router, troubleshoot routers and switches for basic functionality.
