ECE WORKSHOP

In association with Infinity Technologies, New Delhi, the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a five-day workshop on Basics of Electronics and P.C.B. Designing from 17-23 August 2011. Managing Director & CEO of Infinity Technologies, Mr. Ajay Arora and members like Ms. Kavita Banthiya and Ms. Anjali Sethiya etc. conducted a course enabling the participants learn the designing of Printed Circuit Boards (P.C.B.) and make a working project model.

The enlightened speakers introduced Eagle Software on which the circuits were to be designed. They practically made the participants aware of Individual Group Projects, Soldering Techniques and Drilling- innovative techniques of PCB Designing.

This workshop was, indeed beneficial to all participants, Faculty members and students. They also learnt the practical aspects of Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, Transformer, Diodes, and Transistor etc.

The Dean (Academics) Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh, Advisor (R&D) Prof. (Dr.) C. R. Singla, Prof. (Dr.) S. Krishan Yadav, Prof. (Dr.) S. V. Nair, Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bagga, Prof. (Dr.) D. P. Singh,  Prof. (Dr.) H. S. Dua, Dr Jitender Kumar  and other eminent dignitaries  from other Engineering Colleges were also  present.

The five-day workshop ended on 23 August 2011 with the certificate distribution ceremony by Hon’ble Dr. Satish Yadav, Chairman, Dronacharya Group of Institutions & Organisations. Delivering a vote of thanks Mrs. Swati Jha, the coordinator expressed her hearty gratitude towards the Hon’ble Principal, Hon’ble Guests, participants and students in making the workshop useful.
