A group of eight students - Aman Sharma (Roll No 14603), Gaurav Verma (Roll No 15709), Neelima Saini (Roll No 15723), Nitigya Grover (Roll No 15724), Nitin Garg (Roll No 15725), Rishabh Sharma (Roll No 15732), Sunita Mandal (Roll No 15736) and Vishakha (Roll No 15738) from the department of Electronics and Computer Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a seminar on “Embedded Systems” organised by Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd. Gurgaon on 11th August 2013.

Delivering a lecture on “Embedded Systems”, Mr. Siddharth, an expert faculty of Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon shared that embedded systems are used in many areas from vehicles, mobile phones to washing machines and printers. He emphatically stated that nowadays it is impossible to imagine our life without the applications of embedded systems. Further, he also dealt with history, characteristics, touch screen concepts and other applications of Embedded systems in the current world of technology.

The seminar was significant and useful to the students. They were also made theoretically and practically aware on Interface, Complexity, Peripherals, Reliability Issues, Electronic Power Consumption, Real power limitation, Demand and Ideal Power Curve etc.
