The Spoken Tutorial Resource Centre of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organised the Faculty Development Programme through conducting various workshops on Linux, Latex, Scilab, Python, Php & MySQL from January to March 2014 under the coordination of Mrs. Chitra Kaul, Incharge, Spoken Tutorial Resource Centre.

The inaugural speech was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) M. N. Hussain, the Principal, DCE, Gurgaon who motivated the participants to learn the applications of open source software.

Almost every faculty member from departments including Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Computers Engineering and Applied Science & Humanities cleared the online test and got certificates from IIT Bombay.
