“Tree Plantation Day” was held at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Khentawas, Farrukh Nagar, Gurgaon on 28th October, 2009. Our Hon’ble Chairman Dr. Satish Yadav was the Chief Guest. The prime objective of the Event was to spread awareness among the students about Environmental Protection and mobilize their participation in environment related activities which was done by our Hon’ble Chairman and other Members of the Club by discussing the importance of planting and conserving Trees as these form the bedrock of Human civilization and Culture. The Chairman including Head of the Institution, Dean Academic, all HODs and other Faculty members took participation in the Event. The students also took an initiative of planting trees with enthusiasm and commitment.
