Worked as Head of Construction Company, Corps of Engineers in, Indian Army from March 1993 to June 1994. Worked as a company commander I was responsible for management of the Company and for assisting the company in site investigation, selection of source of construction material as per specification, carrying out the work as per construction drawing, interpretation of technical specification, preparation of programs for day-to-day construction activity including quality checking, Review of progress reports, monitoring operation of concrete mixing plant, asphalt mixing plants and paving work at site, coordination with company's head office. I was also involved in supervision of construction, testing of soil and materials, monitor quality assurance and quality control tests, inspection and supervision of all layers of pavement construction, solving pavement related technical and construction issues, intervene to ensure Quality control of modern pavement construction technology and material.

Worked as Deputy Commander of 658 Bridging Company, in Indian Army Corps of Engineers, from March 1991 to March 1993. As a deputy commander I was responsible for Construction and restoration / retrofitting of Roads in Upper Assam, Meghalaya , Arunachal Pradesh including providing logistic support in terms of provision equipment and materials duly tested and certified for road and bridge construction. Construction of Class 40 Steel bridge across Lohit River to develop additional axis for to link SH 52- NH15 through Seijosa In Arnuchal Pradesh. I did Planning design and feasibility study for restoration of Road and Damaged RCC bridge at NH31 in Kokrajhar dist in Assam including soil investigation and embankment protection works and thereafter supervised the reconstruction of damaged road and bridge at NH 31(toal 56 Km In patches) as part of aid to civil authority

Worked as Platoon commander in construction company, Indian Army Corps of Engineers from July 1987 to Mar 1991. Was responsible for assisting the company in soil /field investigation, Planning, designing and Construction of operational roads in inhospitable terrain with inclement weather, adverse geological and topographical conditions. Planned and scheduled the earth moving plants and got carried out formation cuttings and soil compaction and flexible overlay with retaining structures and drainage provisions. (Auli road –Josimath by pass link road all weather Class 40 hill road).
