Three students Kabi Prasad Parida, Rahul Kumar and Chandan  from Civil Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon jointly presented a research paper on “Design principal for Earthquake Resistant Building and Post Earthquake Study by Structural Engineering perspectives”at IIT, Delhi in TRYST 2014 on 1st March 2014. The paper aimed to highlight design principles for earthquake resistant buildings which should be compulsorily endorsed during the construction. Also the post-earthquake effects on buildings from structural point of view were highlighted.   It was a learning platform for the students.
