DCE IEEE student branch organized an event ‘Circuit Designing and Web Designing’ at Dronacharya College of Engineering Gurgaon on 25 Sep 14 with the goal of imparting creativity among students and to develop new skills and making them aware of the recent technologies. At the same time, special attention is also being given on the organizing, leadership and managerial skills of IEEE student members so as to make them good technocrats of future so as to serve the humanity better. These activities have not only been confined to IEEE members from DCE Gurgaon, but also many non IEEE members have taken a keen interest in these activities. This event included a Circuit Designing and Website Designing competition. The students from ECE, EEE, ECS, ME participated in circuit designing competition.

Circuit Design competition started at 10.30 am . Fourty Six students participated in the competition. The timeline given for designing a circuit of their choice was one hour. Students were instructed to develop the circuits on Bread Board.The participants designed various circuits like variable power supply, mobile charger, solar energy converter, water level Indicator, wireless Robotetc. The circuits were judged by Prof. (Dr.) H.S.Dua HOD (ECE) and Prof. Vishal Bharti.

In Web designing competition the students from CSE and IT Department participated The various topics taken for web design were IEEE Logo, technology world, cars for tomorrow etc.The Workshop reflected very good coordination among the teachers and students and exhibited enormous talent of the participants.
