Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon in association with the Department of Electrical Engineering, NITTTR Chandigarh conducted a five - day ICT Based Programme on Virtual Instrumentation from 28th April to 2nd May 2014.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Lini Mathew where in he talked about the essential aspects of Lab VIEW Programming. Mr. Vinod K. Sharma and Dr. Lini Matthew guided to display the contents of an array to an indicator. They discussed on How File I/o is used in Lab VIEW programming how File I/Os are used practically. Mrs. Shimi S.L. took a session on Project using Lab VIEW Programming. Mr. Shishir Sarkar talked about Fuzzy logic implemented using Lab View Programming. He elucidated it by implementing Linguistic Variable which was another useful session as Fuzzy logic is used in many electronic equipment such as Washing Machine.

The programme was beneficial as the seasoned speakers presented different theoretical as well as practical aspects of Virtual Instrumentation.
