The department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon, conducted a two-day workshop on “Printed Circuit Board (P.C.B.) Technology” from 29th to 30th November, 2012 in collaboration with Jiyanjani Technologies Private Limited (JTPL), Faridabad. The objective of the workshop was to bring together the very latest information on various technologies like PADSTACK, Footprint, Vias etc.

Inaugurating the workshop, Mrs. Swati Jha, Head of Department, enlightened the students about the importance of such workshops in their professional career and welfare of society in general. Mr. Parveen Sharma, Director, JTPL, Faridabad talked about the history of PCB Technology and its usefulness. He also elaborated different concepts and applications of PCB Designing, Soldering and Drilling Techniques etc.

More than 100 students participated and showed their excitement in the workshop. The workshop was beneficial to all participants as they made the “First working project of their lives” during these two days.

Hon’ble Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh, Dean Academics and Mr. Praveen Sharma, Director, JTPL, Faridabad distributed the certificates to all participants. Vijay Kumar Arora, the class representative, expressed his heart-felt gratitude to the magnanimous Management, Hon’ble Principal, all HOD’s, the Guest-speaker and participants for making the workshop successful.
