Shalini Sharma (14091), Priyanka Yadav (14068) from CSE Department; Anshul Patro (14605), Vineet Kataria (14631) ECS Department along with Ms. Pratibha Sharma (Assistant Professor, Computer Science & Engineering Department) of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon presented their project “EDUAPP” in the National level project Competition Innovations’14 organized by the CSI Student Chapter of SIES-GST, Mumbai on 24th February 2014.

The project “EDUAPP” presented by Dronacharyans was basically about the concept on interactive learning through gestures. The Project focused on development of an application that can revolutionise the learning criteria to make studies more efficient so that it can successfully impart hundred percent of the concept and would help in leaving a carve on their minds about different concepts so that it becomes permanent on their minds and can implement these concepts anywhere in their field of knowledge. The application consist of various 3-D models that can be controlled through hand gestures and models can be rotated, zoom and can be seen through every possible angle by controlling them through your hands.

During the competition Mr. Saurabh Sonawala (Managing Director Hinditron Cray Supercomputers Hinditron Group), Mr. Ajay Gupta (Managing Director Micron Cut (BOM) PVT. LTD. and the Guest of Honour Dr. Anjali Parasnis (Associate Director western Regional Center, TERI, Gurgaon were present. They also appreciated the working the project “EDUAPP”.

The event ended with the valedictory session and prize distribution ceremony.
