National Creativity Aptitude Test (NCAT) 2015

The 1st round of the National Creativity Aptitude Test (NCAT) 2015 organised by International Forum for Excellence in Higher Education (IFEHE) was conducted at Dronacharya College of Engineering Department on 14th Feb 2015.

A total of 110 students from 5 branches – Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECS), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) appeared for the exam.

Objective of the NCAT Exam
The NCAT Exam assesses the creativity quotient of a student and his/her level of achievement motivation. By participating in this Test, the students get sensitized to the domain of creative thinking and motivation to read, learn and practice the same. They also learn the importance of these factors and their role in shaping one’s future. The NCAT Exam may throw up a set of students who don’t seem to be the front-runners in the curricular subjects as creative geniuses and motivate them to sharpen their talent.

The test was conducted for 4 categories.
Category 1: Students of 1st Year B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA
Category 2: Students of 2nd Year B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA
Category 3: Students of 3rd Year B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA & 4th Year B.Tech/B.Engg
Category 4: Students of 1st & 2nd Year MBA/M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech.

Students participated in the test with great zeal and enthusiasm and we look forward to positive results.

The results for Round 1 are set to be declared on 21st March’15.
