On 1st September, 2014 Mrs. Akanksha Kulshreshtha, Assistant Professor along with two students Anshul Patro and Vineet Kataria from Electronics & Computer Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a workshop on “5G Standardization: WISDOM”  organized by Global  ICT standardization Forum for India(GISFI) at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. The workshop was organized on the occasion of fifth anniversary of GIFSI. The “WISDOM” stands for Wireless Innovation System for Dynamic Operating Mega Communication.

The objective of this brainstorming workshop was to disseminate information related to  ICT and  its application in the  areas, such as energy, telemedicine, wireless robotics, biotechnology etc.

The workshop was useful as the participants learnt various concepts like 5G User Perspective and Network Capabilities;  Network society and strategies / special purpose network perspective; Network architecture, Deployment Strategies and emerging business models perspective etc.
