56 students of IV Semester ECE Dept.panied by two staff members on each day (Mr. Surender Dhaka, Mr. Nishant Kumar on 01st April and Mrs. Ritu & Mr. Yoginder on 07th April 2015). ALTTC functions on the frontiers of Telecom technology and imparts telecom related training. The strength of ALTTC lies in the state of art labs, massive infrastructure and trained, talented and qualified human resource pool.

A brief introduction was given by Mr. A.K. Jha, (Divisional Engineer) about Telephony, Optical fibre systems (SDH & FTTH), Digital Switching and Networking, Mobile Communication, GSM, 3G, CDMA, Data communication and other related technologies. The following labs were covered during the visit.
1. IP Networking Lab
2. GSM Lab
3. Transmission Lab
4. Broadband & IT Lab

The equipments related to Telecom/ Broadband, GSM and Wireless Communication were explained by the concerned engineers. The visit proved very educative and useful for the students.
