Chain Reaction:- This technical event required the participants to over-engineer a machine or apparatus deliberately to perform a very simple task in a very complicated fashion. Here, they needed to prove their mettle by unlocking their imagination and building the most complex structures on the foundation of elementary engineering principles to perform a task. The participants had to bring their own material to build the mechanism and the judgment was based on various factors like the number of steps in contraption, number and types of energy conversions, originality of ideas, innovation and the complexity of overall contraption.

1. A team of 5 students : Shweta Saini (16773), Akansha Marwah (16762), Amit Saini (16763), Deepanshu Bansal (16766) and Monica Godara (16768) from VI Semester ECS bagged 1st position in the event and was awarded cash prize of Rs. 4000.
