All Students of Electronics and Computer Department of DCE Gurgaon were taken to a PCB manufacturing commercial unit named Visoulia Electronics in suburbs of Ghaziabad on 1st Dec. 2012. Unit is being run by a technopreneur (Engineer turned Entrepreneur), Mr. Pradeep Visoulia, Director, Visoulia Electronics, who has been in PCB industry for more than 20 years now.

In their welcome speech, Mr. Parveen Sharma, Director, Jiyanjani Technology Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. PradeepVisoulia, Director, Visoulia Electronics, encouraged students for entrepreneurship. Mr. Visoulia shared all the tips and tricks of his business as his erudition on the subject was matchless.

In order to comprehend the process, two groups were made. Mr. Visoulia was kind enough to spend at least two hour with each group. Following process were shown to the students-

1. PCB designing process using software.

2. Highly mechanized, cost effective, commercial drilling by CNC Machine and its programming.

3. Lamination of PCB using Imported dry film.

4. Commercial Printing of circuit design on PCB using Ultra Violet method.

5. Manual removal of laminations.

6. Electroplating of tin on the tracks.

7. Casting for removal of protective layer on excess of copper.

8. Etching process for the removal of excess of copper using a special solution of Iron.

9. Tin removal from tracks using ammonia solution.

10. Masking of PCB to prevent oxidation using a special paint.

Question & Answer session made process comprehension much easier.Industrial visit concluded with a short speech and distribution of token of remembrance by Jiyanjani Technologies and Visoulia Electronics. Students were mesmerized by the knowledge they imbibed through this industrial visit.
