Prof. (Mrs.) Meeta Verma, from Civil Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering attended the advanced training program on “Green Building Rating Systems” conducted by IGBC (Indian Green Building Council), a division of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) on 12th – 13th September 2013 at CII building, Gurgaon.

Mr. M. Anand, Principal Counsellor, LEED Accredited Professional from CII Hyderabad conducted this training. The two day training programme focused on eight modules – Introduction, Sustainable sites, Water efficiency, Energy Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environment Quality, Innovation in Design and Regional Priority. The environmental impact of buildings is significant for far-reaching effects on our natural environment and personal well-being of occupants.
