On 19th November, 2014 three faculty Mr. Yashvardhan Soni (IT Department), Ms. Sarita (CSE Department ) & Ms. Pratibha Sharma (CSE Department) from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon, attended India-US Technology Summit at India Expo Centre Greater Noida.

As Indians are rapidly increasing their data consumption, E-commerce and governance transitions to the internet, thereby prompting a need to optimize traffic flow and protect consumer data is in demand. This will make impact on networks of future and how these networks will evolve with new technologies /architectural development s-network function virtualization, software defined networks and heterogeneous wireless networks etc.

The migration to these networks currently is in a transition phase. Another important issue is the migration of wireless networks to broadband technologies and how the spectrum will be optimized in the interim period across 2G, 3G and 4G Technologies. This session discussed the impact and the migration to these networks.
