On 27th March 2014, fifteen students Radhika Gogia , Sadhana , Priti Yadav, Prianka Yadav , Ronak Juneja, Shilpa Yadav, Tanushree, Yashika, Sumit Yadav, Usha, Chhavi Bhardwaj, Nidhi , Monika, Chetna, Aastha from CSE Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a workshop on Memory Power at ITM University, Gurgaon.

The main resource person of the workshop was “Mr. Virender Mehta”. He has profited the reputation of “World Record Holder in Memory” for memorizing all 80,000 words from Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary 6th edition with Page nos. He has featured in LIMCA BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS as a result of his tremendous Memory Power. His name is also registered in the list of 25 Unusual Indians surveyed by THE WEEK Magazine.

The objective of this workshop was to achieve powerful focus, concentration and improve work and study performance. The workshop enlightens the following points:

1. Improve productivity by powerful memory management techniques.

2. Achieve positive attitude towards learning, memorizing and retaining information.

3. Come out of absent-mindedness forever.

4. Save time and mental energy.

5. Learn tips to manage workload and reduce stress.

6. Coming out of “Excuse Syndrome” which is a big barrier to momentum.

The workshop was beneficial and relevant as the participants were taught various concepts of improvising their knowledge skills through creative interactive sessions.
