Mr. Shane Moore, Joint Director of VanArts (VANCOUVER INSTITUTE OF MEDIA ARTS) organized a seminar on Media Arts. Saurabh Sethia (15097) from Computer Science and Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the seminar on 28th February 2015 at New Delhi.

VanArts offered a variety of highly focused diploma programs designed to prepare students to work in specific areas of media arts including Visual Effects Production, Game Asset Design, Character Animation, Digital Photography, Acting for Film & Television, Web Development and Broadcasting. By developing a well-rounded curriculum of visual, media and performing arts, VanArts has created an educational environment that encourages collaboration between its programs of study with a faculty and advisory board that draws directly from the relevant industries. VanArts provides students with the foundation and mentorship necessary to launch a career.

Mr. Shane Moore, Join Director of Admissions, gave an introduction of VanArts and discussed about one-year programs on animation, game art& design, visual effects, photography, web development, acting & broadcasting and then running through all the programs and advising on how students can study in Canada & build a career in the media arts. Many programs operate as a focused working studio in which learning replicates industry experience.

The program ended with question and answer session between the participants and the organizers. The event gave students a full-fledged knowledge, information and opportunities related to media arts.
