ESYA - IIIT Delhi Annual event

 
 
 

ESYA is annual event of IIIT-Delhi and this year it was its fifth year. ESYA had many type of events such as Aeronuts, Big Bang, Brain fuzz, Build your brand, Chakarvyuh, Chess, Circuitrix, Darwin Games etc. 12 students from CSE Vth Sem Sahil Munjal (15092), Sahil Jindal (15089) , Nitin Sinha (15066), Sachin Malik (15085), Sagar Choudary (15087), Sandeep Giri (15095), Tushar Mehmi (15108), Vishal Yadav (15124), Atul Kaushik (15122), Saurabh Setia (15097), Varun Tyagi (15113), Upender Yadav (15109) participated in various events. The event was organized from 22nd-23rd August 2014.

 

In Brain Fuzz, Vishal Yadav (15124), Tushar Mehmi (15108), Atul Kaushik (15122), Saurabh Setia (15097), Upender Yadav (15109) had participated.

 

In Darwin Games the students have to make or work on the programming language that is unfamiliar to them. There are many teams from many colleges. Vishal Yadav (15124), Tushar Mehmi (15108), Atul Kaushik (15122), Saurabh Setia (15097), Upender Yadav (15109, Sahil Jindal (15089) and Varun Tyagi (15113) participated in the Darwin Games.

 

Circuitrix was the event that was organized by the ECE Dept. of IIIT. In circuitrix there were 3 rounds. In the first round there was MCQ on electronic subject, in second round, the teams had to design virtual circuit using tolls and in the final round the teams had to build a live circuit. There were around 40 teams which participated in the event and out of 40, 6 teams were from our college (4 CSE-II, 1 ECE, 1 EEE). From CSE dept. Sagar Chaudhary, Nitin Sinha, Sandeep Giri, Tushar Mehmi, Sachin Malik , Sahil Jindal had participated in the event.

 

Huntit was the most interesting and most competitive event of ESYA-2014. There were 56 teams out of which only 6 teams were selected in the final round i.e. from each trial only one team will qualify for the next round. The event was all about finding clues on the basis of hind they provide. Each trial had 6 clues.
