Regional Award Distribution Ceremony was organized at Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jaipur on 21st February 2015. E-Leaders of the EDC team of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon namely Shivansh Mudgil (15099), Anurag Vats (16029), Surbhi Bhardwaj (15103) and Komal Chauhan (15072) along with Mr. Tanupriya Chaudhary, Assistant Professor, CSE Department attended the event.

The ceremony was organized by NEN, Wadhwani Foundation to reward the institutions for their active participation in celebrating E- week which was organized from 14th February 2015 to 21st February 2015. The ceremony was attended by number of institutions from India, which are associated with NEN (National Entrepreneurs Network) and have been functional in spreading awareness about entrepreneurship and have been conducting entrepreneurial activities in and around their campuses. The key note address was given by Mr. Ajay Goel, VP Govt. Industry & Academic Relation. He talked about Wadhwani Foundation’s eleven years of journey into skill development, specifically entrepreneurial skills. Having covered 500 institutions NEN aims at creating 25 million jobs and associating with 5000 more institutions. This was followed by a presentation by Meena Kapoor, CEO and founder of ‘OYE HELP.COM’, Netway Private Limited. Mr. Amit Jain, Co- founder of ‘CAR DEKHO.COM’ shared his entrepreneurial journey, his failures and successes throughout the journey that led him to CAR DEKHO.com.

The award ceremony provided a platform for colleges to recognize their efforts for creating awareness amongst college students. This was very motivating and encouraging for students to pursue their aspirations of being great entrepreneurs which inturn help in the progress of the nation.
