Indian Engineering Olympiad (IEO) 2016 is Pan - India competition to offer a real test of engineering aptitude for the engineering students in their respective fields on a natural platform held on 21st February 2016. Students pursuing their engineering in any college across the country are eligible to appear for the exam. This is platform for the engineering students to showcase their talents on national platform.

In this forum 52 students from CSE department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon, had participated in the Olympiad 2016. Over 1,20,000 students across the country participated in the contest to test their skills.

Indian Engineering Olympiad (IEO) test comprises of 50 multiple choice questions across two sections, to be answered in 90 minutes. Student awards include Medals & Excellence certificates for Top 3 students in each stream, Financial Scholarships for Toppers, Merit Certificates for Top 100 students in each stream, Participation Certificates to all the students.

In Engineering Olympiad 2016, Raushan Kumar (16127) from CSE department, from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon obtained 5th City Rank and 240 All India Rank.
