GRE (Graduate Record Examination)

Qualified by Students of

Department of Computer Science and Engineering

 

 

Mr. Abhimanyu Vats, Roll No.-14005 and Ms Hiteshi Kumari, Roll No.- 14036 — students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering qualified GRE (Graduate Record Examination), an International Aptitude Prometric Examination conducted by ETS (Educational Testing Service) an American Organization on 3rd August, 2014.

The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is a standardized test and preliminary requirement for admission in most graduate schools in the United States. The Graduate Record Examinations is administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS) since 1949. The exam aims to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills that have been acquired by the students over a period of time. The GRE General Test is offered as a computer-based exam administered at Prometric Testing Centers.

Mr. Abhimanyu Vats scored 303 marks out of 340 and Ms. Hiteshi Kumari scored 290 marks out of 340. GRE certificate will be an added advantage for them in higher education abroad and in getting jobs abroad. Four Universities namely University of Denver (USA), California State University (USA), New York Institute of Technology (USA), University of Windsor (CANADA) have already accepted their scores.
