Two students—Shweta Popli (16154) and Zeba Khan (16181) of Department of Computer Science Engineering, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in English Poem Recitation Competition held during Tech-Fest (AYF), at Amity University on 14th February 2015.

The lamp lighting ceremony was conducted by Ms. K. Bhalla. The participants were given time to recite the poem in 2 to 4 minutes. The judgment was given on the basis of originality, artistic creation and narration. The students from different states like Kerala, Uttar Pradesh etc. participated in this competition. Shweta Popli from Department of Computer Science Engineering got 1st prize in English Poem Recitation Competition. The event was very inspiring in developing the interest of young participants in English language and enriching their language skills with the beauty and elegance of English Poetry.
