The department of Information Technology of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized an industrial visit to Aptron Solutions , Noida on 23rd October 2015. Twenty five students of Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Computer Engineering Department along with faculty coordinator Mr. Dharmendra Pal visited the company.

The purpose of this Industrial visit was to get familiar students with various networking technologies like CCNA, CCNP & CCIE, Oracle Certified database expert & .Net professional.

Mr. Sonu Kumar, Trainer, Aptron explained about CCNA Security Training (Cisco Certified Network Associate). This is the basic associate level program offerd by CISCO in network security technology. It Covers Firewall, cisco Router & Switches Security, Network attacks/Hijacking, After completion of CCNA Security a candidate will be able to install, troubleshoot & Monitoring of CISCO Security Devices.

CCNA Voice Training (Cisco Certified Network Associate – VOICE) is an associate level program offered by cisco in VOIP Tecnology. After Completion of CCNA Voice a candidate will be able to handle CISCO IP Phone Connectivity with call manager, call routing, IP Telephony, Voice mail systems.

CCNA Data Center (Cisco Certified Network Associate Date Center) is a time oriented and economical qualification that promotes professionalism and helps you maintain networking credentials by means of the most effective techniques. Competence as an important measure of the certification serves in developing strategy, application, sustentation and inauguration skills that increase productivity and the excellence of learning.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is Professional Level Certification in Routing Switching Technologies offered by Cisco. With a CCNP certification, a network professional demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security into the network. The CCNP training curriculum includes building scalable Cisco networks.

The visit was informative and useful to the students as they learnt about various CISCO technologies and different types of certification program in the field of networking. It enhances the chance of getting good career opportunities in the field of networking.
